Our Story
 

Our family raises 100% grass-fed Black Angus cattle to produce the healthiest, highest-quality meat. Our beef is dry-aged for 21 days for a tender, flavorful beef that is free of hormones or antibiotics.

Three generations of Menefee's work on our family-owned cattle ranch in southwest Missouri. We raise Black Angus beef, bred for the quality of their meat. Our 100% grass-fed and -finished beef is not only delicious, but is also better for you, with lower saturated fat and more anti-oxidants than grain-fed beef. Our animals are raised on open grass pastures and free of any hormones, pesticides, antibiotics, herbicides or grains.

Our beef is processed in a small local USDA processing plant, one at a time. We do not process in the winter, to ensure that the cattle are eating green grass (not dry) right up to the time of processing. We hand-carve the meat using only knives to ensure a clean cut, free of bone fragments. Our beef is dry-aged for 21 to 28 days to concentrate the beef flavor and tenderize the meat.
